THE COTTAGE

This two-bedroomed cottage comfortably sleeps five. It is thought to have been the buttery and servant's sleeping quarters for The Grove, a Grade 2 listed farmhouse with Tudor origins, but largely dating from the sixteenth-century. There are many original features, sensitively blended with comfort. The cottage benefits from a sheltered south-facing garden, but guests are also invited to explore the grounds and enjoy the rich diversity of wildlife with whom it is shared!

TAKE A LOOK AROUND

THE AREA

The Buttery is ideally located near to the medieval town of Reepham which has a lovely pub, award winning restaurant and lots of charming independent shops. Norwich is also less than half an hour away, and the beautiful Norfolk coast curves around us. There are lovely countryside walks in every direction, and fabulous cycling opportunities, including easy access to the Marriott's Way.

THINGS TO DO LOCALLY

THE HOSTS

Gus and Emily bought the Grove in 2014, and have spent the last few years trying to sensitively restore it to it's former glory, whilst introducing a few creature comforts along the way. They live here with their two children, Daisy and Arthur, and their very friendly working cocker spaniels, Patty and Maggie, along with a selection of poultry and any other wildlife that choses to call this home.

If you have any questions about the cottage or the surrounding area, we would love to hear from you.
